We have the following Christian Education groups for children and youth from September through mid-June:

Age birth through 6:
9:15 am-12:15 pm, room 26
From 9:15 am through the end of worship (around 12:15), we have trained nursery staff in our nursery. We invite you to allow your children to be our guests and to spend their time with us during worship. The nursery has seating for parents, especially those with newborns, toys for the little ones to play with, as well as children's videos and books to read and look at! Children 4-8 are encouraged to attend Godly Play during the 11 o'clock worship hour (see below).

Age 4-8:
Godly Play
11:10-12:10, lower level
Godly play is a new worship opportunity for children aged 4 through 8. The children begin their worship in the sanctuary with their parents. After the Time with Children, they leave the sanctuary and head downstairs, where they continue their worship. They hear/see a Bible story, reflect on that story, and create art in response to the story with our Godly Play leaders. For more information on Godly Play, contact our coordinator, Katherine Stikkers (pghkath@yahoo.com).

Age 13-18:

6-7:30 pm, room 33 (upstairs)
The Youth Group meets for service projects (like river cleanups and soup kitchens), to talk about faith and life, and to have a great time. We reflect on our faith and how we can better live as Christians, whether it is working with the homeless, spending more time in prayer or watching out for each other. And we keep life in perspective by laughing a lot!
