April 20
We will be having a Passover Seder—a Jewish ritual feast held on the first night of the Jewish holiday of Passover. It is also the feast during which the disciples and Christ shared the Last Supper. Alison Trimble and Alison Shorter-Lawrence are heading up the event, which may run a little longer than our usual Holy Grounds. Please plan to bring $5 person to help with the food supplies (we have to buy a lot of expensive specialty items). Also bring a food item to share. Options include:
Dessert (macaroons or other such Passover friendly things)
Grape Juice (preferably Kosher, you can find this in the Passover section of the grocery store)
Green salad with an oil based dressing
Tabouleh
Please RSVP holygrounds@fpcusa.org and list how many and what dish you will be brining to share.
April 27
We will be going downtown again to spend time with the homeless. Youth from FPC and FUMC will be joining us. We will meet across the street at FUMC to make bag dinners and then go downtown to share dinner with the homeless. We should be done a little after 8.
Starting in May we will begin a new series about Identity. More details will be coming soon!

Out of town Sunday mornings? (But back by 6 pm?)
Longing to slow down and discover some spiritual peace?
Wondering where you might ask questions about faith?
Not interested in the usual kind of church?
Join us for Holy Grounds, our 6 PM worship service in the lower level of the church building. We will explore God and a different way of life together in the coolness of the evening.
The lights are low. The refreshments are plentiful. The atmosphere -- we pray -- is conducive to authentic spiritual worship. Join us. Our entrance is at the external stairs on driveway side of church building (look for the sign).
