We provide childcare in the nursery for young children from 9:30 am-12:30 pm each Sunday. During summer worship children 0-4 may stay in the nursery and children 5-6 may join them after the Children's Story (about 10 minutes into worship.)
We also provide childcare for special events. If you have questions about whether childcare will be offered for a particular event, please call the church office (703-931-7344) and ask for Rob.
We are proud of our team of nursery workers:
Zalika Cole, Fareeda Taha, Halla Hamad, and Tadelish Tsige
Zalika is one of our regular nursery workers. You will find her in the nursery most Sundays. She has been with us for 3 years. She was just married last year (Congratulations!)
Fareeda is our other regular
nursery worker. She just joined our staff this year and is already bonding
with the children. She is from Ethiopia and has been a great
addition to the staff.
Tadelish is one of our substitute nursery workers. She fills in when Zalika or Fareeda cannot be there to insure that we always have people to watch the children.
Halla is one of our substitute nursery workers. Whenver Zalika or Fareeda cannot be with us, you are likely to find Halla there instead.
